Products Jenny Loves

... And SHE thinkS you might love them too!

I LOVE to shop. I can remember in the years before I met my husband I would happily spend my Saturdays picking up new products and refreshing my wardrobe. I still love to shop however my focus for shopping is more fine tuned and specific. I don't like clutter nor do I have an over packed wardrobe. I like to identify key items that make me happy, make my life easier, and serve a purpose.

I am a frugal shopper and am always looking for a product that is cost effective. To be honest this doesn't always work out as I do have to test things out ALOT before landing on something that works but for now this is my process. The good news is because I have tried a BUNCH of products that didn't work out I am ONLY recommending products that have passed the "Jenny Trial". I hope that you enjoy them!

CALM Magnesium supplements I will swear by these and believe they have helped my son focus on the task at hand AND minimized his outbursts. Message me for questions on my experience!

In my quest over the summer to do everything I can to prepare my kids for school I came across Nordic Naturals DHA. This is an incredible support supplement for ADHD but also overall brain health. I will update my review once school starts!

It is no secret that I struggle with energy for my morning work outs. This creatine supplement has been a game changer for me in helping me through my work outs and powering through my day!

I think I may complain at minimum twice a month about how peri-menopause has snuck up on me. I am not one to complain but I am MISERABLE with symptoms so I STRONGLY recommend Amberen as a support if you too are blessed with peri-menopause.

I love to cook! But I also love finding hacks that make complex recipes easier to throw together. With this hand blender I can whip up soups, sauces, and specialty breakfasts for my family in half the time!

It turns out I CANNOT live without an air fryer. So when my 1st one burnt out (in the middle of cooking!) I knew I had to replace it ASAP. I searched around and found the Cosori Toaster Oven Air Fryer and could not be happier. Pros you can see what is cooking and cook alot at once, cons it takes up alot of counter space.

Now I know I am not the only one who can't stand when my produce goes bad before I can enjoy it. Enter these fruit savers sheets that I started using a few years back. It makes a considerable difference in the life of my produce.

My goal every day is to drink around 70 oz of water. This doesn't always happen, so I bought these really cute glasses to help inspire me to drink more water and I don't know why but for me it works. Drink up!

For some reason I have lost my voice a few times this year, it is getting a little ridiculous. My go to when I am feeling another round coming is this manuka honey and many many cups of tumeric tea.

On Jenny's book shelf...

My first venture into meditation, the law of attraction, and vision boarding was a result of the book "The Secret" finding its way to me. If you are ready to change your life pick this book up and message me if you want to hear about my experiences.

I am an avid reader of personal development, self learning books, anything I can get my hands on that will help me reach my goals I am all in. The book "Lean In" was one of the first books I read and it was highly impactful on my early career, it is must for all female professionals.

Adding to the list of professional development books I have read I LOVED "The Six Figure Women". There were so many gems in this book which is a series of interviews conducted with women who make six + figures and the underlying characteristics that they all have.

If you are a small business owner or entrepreneur I STRONGLY recommend The Dip by Seth Godin. It is a super quick read but incredibly informative book about when it is time to quit and when it is time to press on.

MELISSA'S PICKS

All My Personal Favs

When I go to buy something, I basically ask myself three questions:

1) Is it going to make my life easier?

2) How is the quality? (I rather buy something a little more expensive that is going to last longer), and

3) How useful is this product? (Are we going to use it frequently or is it going to sit and collect dust bunnies?)

I'm a shopper. Admittedly. I blame my mother. Ha...Matt is the opposite. He really hates clutter. He would purge the house every month if he could. So the products below are ones that have made the cut. They met my criteria and have survived Matt's frequent clearings! Honestly though, these are products that I have recommended already to my family and friends. And now I want to share them with all of you!

FOR YOUR KITCHEN...

Woman Working on a Laptop
Women Having Tea in Their Robes

No lie, I probably spent like two hours researching water filters. Sounds crazy, but most of them don't do what they advertise they do! This filter was one of the only affordable options that provided third-party testing for their products. My family and I use this at home and it's been really helpful. Miami treats their water with chloramine which is super hard to filter out. This pitcher does the best job I've seen so far.

Love these pans! I've had different sets for over three years now. They're actually nonstick and don't leach chemicals into your food. They last a pretty long time. The only drawback is that I hand wash mine. They last much longer if you do.

So the hubby hates clutter. Whether it's toys, our closets, appliances on the kitchen counter, etc. So this 13-in-1 (it actually does 13 things lol) is a real space saver and still fits in one of our kitchen cabinets. It's the same brand as the pans I recommended, so it also has that non-toxic non-stick coating. Bonus.

...FOR BATH & BEAUTY

I know, I know. You are probably sick on the non-toxic talk. I get it. It's annoying and just easier to ignore. But makeup really is something that women use on a daily basis that can be filled with real crap - chemicals proven to cause cancer. No thanks. This brand is the best I've found that is both non-toxic and good quality. Some of the other brands, the products are just...not the best. Let me know what you think!

Okay, this product is great for adults and kids. Magnesium is something we all tend to be deficient in. You add a cup of these into a bath when you're sick or sore and it helps your body recover faster. Whenever Mia starts a cold, I add in some of these flakes to boost her immune system. P.S. magnesium helps the body to relax. So if you're stressed out or the kids are going crazy, definitely a helpful addition to the nighttime routine. I used to use bath salts, but you get more bang for your buck with bath flakes. They contain more magnesium and dissolve easier.

So I got tired of being frumpy mom, especially amongst these Miami moms who are dressed to the nines. Hair. Makeup. Coordinating outfits. The whole shebang. I'm not going all out like that but I wanted to be able to do something with my hair that was easy and non-time consuming. Someone on Instagram was promoting this and I was skeptical, but when L'ange ran a sale I bought one. Definitely one of my fav purchases! The one mom in Mia's class started asking me where I went for my blowouts haha! Win.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

FOR THE KIDDIES

Women Having Tea in Their Robes

I don't know why, but Mia loves these things! The first time I got her one, I think she played with it for 45 minutes straight. That was a productive morning for mommy. Haha! These dolls come in different characters and themes. They are great to have around and don't take up much space.

Who didn't like playing walkie talkies when they were a kid? These are good quality and cute. There's two different animal sets. Mia loves bringing these to playdates and playing with her friends. And she loves using them at home to talk to Daddy downstairs. She thinks it's the funniest thing. Side note: I love the brand B Toys in general. All of their toys are good quality and pass the Mia test.

At first, I was like why are these tile things so expensive. But I got them on sale during Black Friday so I got the whole 100-piece set for $79. Still expensive for a kids toy, but the original magnatiles are super durable, non-toxic, and they really last. It was worth the money. Mia will play independently with these and she actually builds all kinds of things. They have also survived Matt's purges, so you know they are good. Haha.
